Stefan Jasiura
Stefan’s life around plants has grown into a full time profession and calling. He has worked in the landscaping industry (maintenance side) in the Okanagan for well over 20 years.
The opportunity to learn and grow has guided his travels (in the winter months) to just over 40 countries, 10 of which he has called home for an extended period of time.
After spending an extensive amount of his ‘off time’ volunteering in permaculture and natural building, and finishing degrees in both business and biotecture, he finally decided to really commit to the Okanagan. Thus launching Stay Fun Farms as a side project in 2017, focused on food security and regenerative practices.
He learned that he loves growing, but not selling, and came back to the idea of growing as a service, instead of selling the final product. This guided him back to landscape maintenance, looking to carve out a niche for clients’ who care about something beyond the regular Okanagan landscapes.
He considers it a great privilege to work with plants everyday of my life, and to work with people on their properties. His goal is always the same, he would like to use beauty as a placebo, giving his clients’ the motivation to spend a few more minutes outside, in their own space, surrounded by what they find inspirational, and brings them joy.

Joelle Morgan
Joelle has recently taken to doing all the work behind the scenes at Stay Fun Farms. She has 5 years of industry experience, and is a plant lover and enthusiast.
She has a major passion for finding new efficiencies and helping operations run as effectively as possible. Her big smile and willingness to help and serve shine through in every situation as she keeps us in touch with many of the leading permaculturalists around the world as well as the contacts that we have made from our extensive travels.
She is a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, and mother of two budding permaculturalists. She is currently engaged in getting her own Doula practice off the ground, and still finds time in the winter to take a break from her Doula work and focus her attention for three months on the happenings from the previous permaculture season. She loves looking into new courses and opportunities offered around the world, and can be found, more often than not, on a zoom call learning new techniques in permaculture, design, and customer relations.

Frances Jasiura
Fran is our resident elder and leader of our living soils botanicals. With her endless energy, enthusiasm and passion for healing the people and the planet, she has put retirement on the shelf, to see what healing modalities present themselves from the farm.
She has lived in constant relationship with the farmstead itself for nearly 30 years, and has seen the many transformations that the land has revealed through the decades.
Fran is currently allowing the many bountiful medicinals that we’ve grown for healing the soil, to open new paths into healing people as well. With Calendula as the guiding star, she is starting to scratch the surface of the soil to see what healing powers lay beneath.
